The Mercedes-AMG GT3 put on a dominant showing at the 2016 Nurburgring 24hr with an 1-2-3-4 finish
The two Mercedes-AMG GT3 put on an epic drive in the last 20 minutes of the race with a mere 5.697 seconds between them at the checkered flag, absolutely astonishing for a 24 hour endurance race especially on a track like the Nurburgring.

With pit strategy and cars slowing down to wait for the checkered flag, the #29 HTP and #4 Black Falcon cars were engaged in a flat out spring race through traffic for the final 2 laps. The footage has already been uploaded to YouTube, you can check out the final 20 minutes of the race here:
Congratulations to all the class winners of the 24h race, including the factory entry Subaru WRX STI taking home the back-to-back SP 3T win for the second straight year and 4th total win.Photo credit: Subaru/Fuji Heavy Industries
